David Natkins, of Union Township, NJ, passed away at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell, NJ, on June 30. He was 67.
He was born in the Bronx on November 7, 1949, to Ephraim and Goldie (Glen) Natkins and was raised in Queens. He studied mathematics at SUNY Stony Brook and was a certified math teacher, but his true calling was in computers; he worked his way up the ranks at several companies, eventually becoming a programmer. He remained an avid technology enthusiast in his retirement and was always up to date with the latest computer programs and smartphone apps.
He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his fiancee, Millie Ragazzo, of Union Township, NJ; his children, Jonathan Natkins and his fiancee, Stephanie Paris, of San Francisco, CA, and Sara Natkins, of New York, NY, and their mother, Stephanie Kapit. He is also survived by his two older sisters, Judy Natkins and Enid Natkins, both of Jackson Heights, NY, and a younger sister, Laura Natkins, her husband, Peter Gradjansky, and their children, Ivan and Hannah Gradjansky, all of San Francisco, CA.
Visiting hours will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 PM on Friday, July 7, with a memorial service immediately afterward. Both will be held at Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton, NJ.
