Helen M. Butler, of Plainsboro died Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Merwick Care & Rehab Center.
Born in Newark, NJ, she was preceded in death by her parents, Amelia and Fredrick Mueller, sisters Elsa, Gertrude and Emily. Helen was active in the PTS of the Plainsboro Elementary School and was secretary of the Plainsboro Library when it was founded. Helen had a gentle spirit and enjoyed long friendships. She was a member of the Queenship of Mary Church and treasured being a Eucharistic Minister for many years. Helen enjoyed reading and cross-word puzzles and looked forward to family gatherings and will be missed by many. She was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband Patrick E. Butler, and her son James E. Butler.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am on Thursday, March 30, 2017, Queenship of Mary Church, 19 Dey Rd., Plainsboro. Burial will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
