Vincent Petrocelli Sr., 84, of Estero, FL passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs. Formerly of Brooklyn, NY he had been an Estero resident since 2009. Vincent was born January 22, 1933 in New York City, NY a son of the late Attilio and Luisa (Basciani) Petrocelli. Mr. Petrocelli served 21 years as a FDNY Fire Fighter. He also worked as a Registered Nurse at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY for 20 years. Vincent enjoyed spending time with his family along with the many cruises they took together. He was also an avid card player. Survivors include his loving sons, Vincent (Karin) Petrocelli Jr. of Estero, FL and Anthony (Liz) Petrocelli of Cranbury, NJ; sister, Florence (the late Gene) Cirnigliaro of Bonita Springs, FL; brother, Rico (Elsie) Petrocelli of Nashua, NH; and cherished grandchildren, Lisa, Johanna, Anthony, Maria, Victoria, Kristina, and Isabella. He is also mourned by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille (Vispetto) Petrocelli in 2005.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 9:00 - 11:00 am at the Mather-Hodge funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton. A Graveside service will be held 12:15 pm, on Wednesday, at the Resurrection Cemetery 361 Sharrott Avenue Staten Island, NY 10309.
