BOZARTH, RAYMOND R. 87 - of Mantua, NJ passed away early Friday morning, March 23, 2012, at Acorn Glen Assisted Living in Princeton. Born in Ocean View, NJ, Mr. Bozarth attended Ocean City High School before enlisting in the Army Air Corps toward the end of World War II. Mr. Bozarth retired from the Air Force in 1966 having earned the rank of Master Sergeant while serving in the Strategic Air Command at Fairchild, AFB, and later the Military Air Transport Service at Dover. He was awarded the U.S.A.F. Commendation Medal. Mr. Bozarth went on to open an automotive repair business in Greenfield, NJ. He is survived by his long-time companion, Mae Crain, and by two daughters, Anna R. (Jack) OʼConnor of Bernardsville, NJ and Bonnie B. (Kenneth) Moore of Greenfield, NJ, and four grandchildren, John Michael (Katie) OʼConnor of Florence, NJ, and Kenna, Mimi, and Abbey Moore of Greenfield, NJ. Services will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in Mr. Bozarthʼs name to the Salvation Army.
