Sharon D. Mershon, 57, of Columbus passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Princeton, she was raised in the Princeton – Lawrenceville area and resided in Columbus for the last 15 years. Sharon was a graduate of Lawrence High School Class of 1979. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.
Daughter of the late Daniel DelVecchio, she is survived by her husband of 34 years, Randolph E. Mershon, Jr.; her two sons, Randolph III and his wife, Leslie, and Tyler Mershon; her sister and brother-in-law, Jaye and Mickey Eufemia and their sons, James and Jacob; her brother, Daniel F. DelVecchio, Jr.; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Patrick and Elizabeth Greber; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Cindy Molesworth; her mother, Elizabeth (Mulgrew) Pirone; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Calling hours will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
The Funeral will be held at 9:00 AM on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday at St. Paul’s Church, 216 Nassau St., Princeton. Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.
