Louisa Mary Davies of Cranbury passed away Monday, April 1, 2019. Born in Whitchurch, Wales, she came to America on Boxing Day 1985. Known as Lou to many, she was proud of her Welsh heritage and always had fresh daffodils in the garden at springtime. She loved singing to her grandchildren and vacationing in Portugal. She was a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen and took great pleasure cooking three-course meals for her family and friends, as well as a Michelin star chef. She was proud of her family and loved them all immensely.
Daughter of the late James and Isabella Jenkins (North), she is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bram Davies; a son and daughter-in-law James and Debbie Davies; a son and daughter-in-law Stuart and Jo Lawton-Davies; a daughter and son-in-law Esther and Joseph DeVito; seven grandchildren, Sam, Chloe and Abby Davies; Sam and Tom Lawton-Davies; and William and Lucy DeVito; and a brother and sister-in-law Lloyd and Pauline Jenkins.
A service will be held at Mather-Hodge Funeral Home at 4pm on Friday, April 5, 2019.
