Gertrude W. Cupples, 94, of Hamilton Square, died Tuesday, Dec. 31st at Artis Assisted Living, Princeton Jct. Born and raised in Princeton, she was a member of Nassau Presbyterian Church and a long-time resident of Hamilton Square. Mrs. Cupples retired, after many years, from Princeton Bank and Trust. She was previously employed by Opinion Research Corp. and Ken Kessler, Architect. She had a love for animals, rescuing and supported many dogs and cats over her lifetime. After retirement she enjoyed going to “coffee break” at Fred and Pete’s Deli. Predeceased by her husband, Howard E. Cupples, sisters: Mabel Stalcup, Ethel Traegler, and Barbara Ellis, brothers: Harold Wilson, Joseph Wilson and Norman Wilson. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Marilyn Wilson, brother-in-law, Andrew Bucky Cupples and nieces and nephews. A private interment is under the direction of Mather-Hodge Funeral Home.
