Richard J. Falkowitz, 68, of Princeton Junction died Thursday, January 30, 2020 at home. Born in Manhattan New York, he was raised in the Bronx and has been a resident of Princeton Junction for over 20 years. Richard was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He retired in 2003 after working for over five years as a tax accountant for the State of New Jersey Division of Taxation. He previously worked as an auditor with the Munich Re Group in Princeton and New York City. For the last 16 years, he has been a stay at home Dad, the job he loved the most. Richard was a member and co-coordinator of the Senior Golf League at the Cranbury Golf Course and a member of All Saints Church, Princeton. Besides golf, his passions included the New York Giants, the New York Rangers and most of all, his beloved New York Yankees. Son of the late Meyer and Helene (Wintonick) Falkowitz, he is survived by his wife of 20 years Susan (Eppinger) Falkowitz, a daughter Faith Falkowitz, a brother Michael Falkowitz, sister-in-law, Joy Falkowitz, two nephews, Michael and Daniel Falkowitz and his cousin, John Wintonick, who shared his love of baseball. The Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 pm on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
