Cheau-Ji Shieh, 83, passed away on April 27th, 2020 in Princeton, NJ. She was born on August 23, 1936 in Tainan, Taiwan. She resided primarily in Tainan, Taiwan, then Piscataway, Belle Mead, and Hillsborough, NJ. She was a real estate agent for Century 21, Worden & Crivello. Cheau also worked as an accountant for NJY Camps, which was her most recent and primary place of employment, where she was beloved by many of the staff, both on-site as well as the summer staff from all over the world. She enjoyed music, cooking, sewing, traveling, and caring for her grandchildren. Cheau was very dedicated to her church of 40+ years: True Jesus Church in Hillsborough, NJ. Cheau is survived by her daughters Sheu-Jane Gallagher of Detroit, MI and Elizabeth Shieh of Princeton, NJ; and grandchildren: Ana Shieh Fiuczynski, Christian Shieh Fiuczynski, and Ella Shieh Fiuczynski; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews throughout the US and Taiwan. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org. Arrangements are under the direction of Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
