Jorge Enrique Piraneque Hernandez

Jorge Enrique Piraneque Hernandez was born in Boyaca, Colombia on April 23rd 1939 to his parents Abelardo Piraneque Sarmiento and Dioselina Hernandez de Piraneque. Jorge passed to be with the Lord on July 27th, 2021. He was the second of five siblings: Rafael Antonio, Jose Ignacio (deceased), Maria Anadelina, and Maria Adela.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Maria Ines Saavedra de Piraneque. He was a wonderful father to Marta Acosta, Alba Lucia Thomas, and Javier E. Piraneque. He was also a wonderful and loving grandfather to Brandon Anthony, Javier Esteban, Cristian Javier, Leonardo Henry, Pablo Enrique, Andrea Alexandra, and Sadie Lucia.

God gave him the strength, joy, and laughter to face many adversities in life. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family, loved to listen to Colombian music and stay on top of the daily news.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 31st at 9:30 AM at Stone Hill Church of Princeton (1025 Bunn Dr. Princeton, NJ 08540), followed by an interment of ashes in Resurrection Cemetery of Piscataway (899 E Lincoln Ave and Hoes Ln, Piscataway, NJ 08854). We will conclude with his life’s celebration lunch back at Stone Hill Church at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited.

Jorge Enrique Piraneque Hernandez nació en Boyacá, Colombia el 23 de abril de 1939, hijo de Abelardo Piraneque Sarmiento y Dioselina Hernandez de Piraneque. Jorge partio de este mundo para estar con el Señor el 27 de julio de 2021. El fué el segundo de cinco hermanos, Rafael Antonio, José Ignacio (fallecido), María Anadelina y María Adela.

Lo sobrevive su esposa Maria Ines Saavedra de Piraneque, quien compartio su vida con él por mas de 60 años. Para sus hijos Martha Ines, Alba Lucia y Javier Enrique, él fué un padre maravilloso al igual que para sus nietos Brandon Anthony, Javier Esteban, Cristian Javier, Leonardo Henry, Pablo Enrique, Andrea Alexandra y Sadie Lucia, quienes lo recuerdan con inmenso cariño.

Dios le dio fortaleza, alegría y optimismo para afrontar las adversidades que le trajo la vida. Era muy feliz cuando estaba rodeado de su familia, le encantaba escuchar música colombiana y estar al tanto de las noticias diarias.

Se llevara acabo un servicio en su honor el sábado 31 de julio a las 9:30 A.M. en la iglesia de Stone HIll Church de Princeton (1025 Bunn Dr. Princeton, NJ 08540), inmediatamente, sus cenizas seran transladadas al cementerio

Resurrection de Piscataway (899 E Lincoln Ave and Hoes Ln, Piscataway, NJ 08854). Regresaremos a la iglesia de Stone Hill Church a la 1:00 PM. para compartir un almuerzo en celebración por su vida . Les agradecemos su amable compañia.
