Vincent A. Toscano 75, of Princeton Junction, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2012 after a brief illness with his family by his side. Born in Brooklyn, New York on January 17, 1937 to John and Elizabeth Toscano, Vincent was a graduate of St. Francis Preparatory and St. Francis College. Vincent then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Chemistry from Brooklyn College and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Vincent also held a position as an adjunct professor at Boston College.Vincent married Paulette Roge in 1960 and together they raised four sons, Steven, Lawrence, Andrew and Michael. Vincent was a successful chemist, entrepreneur and businessman and in 1980 he founded Paulaur Corporation. Alongside his wife and sons, he was able to build a successful business by providing exceptional products and customer service in the pharmaceutical, flavor and confectionery industry. On April 16, 2005, Vincent was nominated into the St. Francis Preparatory Academic Hall of Fame. The St. Francis Hall of Fame honors those individuals who have significant lifetime achievements and service to the community. A philanthropist, Vincent has funded the Paulette and Vincent Toscano '53 Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to those students who are in need and are academically gifted. Son of the late John and Elizabeth (Montemarano) Toscano, father of the late Steven Toscano, brother of the late Pat Toscano, he is survived by his devoted and loving wife of over 50 years, Paulette, his three sons, Lawrence, Andrew and Michael, daughters-in-law, Lisa, Michele and Heather, a brother John Toscano and his beloved grandchildren Kyle, Mary, Olivia, Lauren, Joseph, Leah and Audrey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 St. David the King Church 1 New Village Road West, Princeton Junction. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at St. David the King Church.
