Robert A."Simm" Simicsak, 64, of Yardville died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice of St. Francis Trenton, from severe diabetic complications. He was born and raised in Trenton, and had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County until moving to Burlington County nine years ago. Robert worked for the State of NJ DEP as a Civil Engineer for twenty years. He retired in 2003 as Woodbridge Township Engineer. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church of Yardville. Robert was a member of Mercedes, Rolls Royce and Bentley Drivers Club. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Elma Simicsak, and brother Frank. He is survived by his wife Anne De Angelis Simicsak of Yardville, a son Anthony DeAngelis of Hamilton Twp., a daughter and son �"in-law Tracy and Steven Rodriguez of Ewing Twp. He is also survived by a sister Rosemary Untener, step- sister and brother-in-law Sandy and Robert Schweder, sister-in-law, Mary Santarsiero, and 6 grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Calling hours will be held Wednesday February 22, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and again from 8:00-9:30 am on Thursday February 23, 2012 at Knott's Funeral Home 2946 S. Broad St. Hamilton Twp. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Church 555 Yardville-Allentown Rd. Yardville. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery Hamilton Twp. The Family request in lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to "American Diabetes Association" or the "Sunshine Foundation"
