Obituary of Jason Lee

Jason C. Lee, 45, of Princeton Junction, NJ, passed away suddenly at home on April 23, 2012. Born in Taiwan, he emigrated to the United States at the age of 10. He attended Pratt Institute and in 1994 founded the BBX Design Group, a toy manufacturer, where he enjoyed a successful and rewarding career as a toy designer. In 1998 he married Pamela Briggs. Jason shared his new wife's passion for horses, and the couple traveled to Florida and the West Coast to pursue her competitive career before settling in Princeton Junction, NJ. They were blessed with two sons, Leland Jason (JJ) and Adam Jason. Jason was an avid photographer, and could always be found with at least one camera around his neck. Ever active, he also enjoyed biking with his brother Chris, and he and Pamela loved to ski, especially with their sons. At home, he served as Assistant Cub Master for the Boy Scout Pack 48, of which both JJ and Adam were members. In the kitchen, he loved to cook, and according to Pamela, was an excellent chef. Son of the late Hsin Fang Lee, Jason is survived by his wife Pamela, his sons JJ and Adam, his mother Ling Dai Huang Lee, his brother Chris Lee and sister-in-law Vivian Chiu, and his nephew Otter Lee and niece Penelope Lee. He will be remembered and always loved for his dedication to his family, his commitment to his community, his dry wit, his brilliance as an inventor, and his energetic and optimistic spirit. Calling hours will be held Friday, April 27, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 177 Princeton-Hightstown Rd., Princeton Junction. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the college fund of Leland and Adam Lee, c/o Prince of Peace Lutheran Church,177 Princeton-Hightstown Rd., Princeton Junction, NJ 08550.
