Obituary of Anthony Cassano

Anthony J. Cassano, 65, of Princeton Junction passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 surrounded by his loving wife.

Anthony was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a resident of Princeton Junction for thirty years. He was a finance director and worked at the non-profit organization Trenton Head Start and worked at three different firms on Wall Street. Anthony was a huge Yankees fan and animal lover. He collected baseball and dachshund memorabilia. He loved his dachshund Daphne more than baseball.

Son of the late Ernest C. and Frances (Marsiello) Cassano, he is survived by his wife Leslie M. (Mackross) Cassano, his sister and brother-in-law Elaine Cassano-Rivera and Sam Rivera, his mother-in-law Jean Makross, sister-in-law Valerie Mackross, and his dachshund Daphne.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave. Princeton, NJ 08542.

Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 9 am at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am at St. David the King Church, 1 New Village Road, Princeton Junction, NJ 08550. Entombment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.
