Raymond K. Pettus, 67, of Princeton died Friday, July 5, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY he has been a Princeton resident since 1965. Raymond worked as a Moving Consultant for Simonik Transportation, he was a parishioner of St. David the King Church, and a member of the Princeton Fishing Team.
Son of the late Raymond and Catherine (O’Hara) Pettus, he is survived by his wife of 36 years Elvina (Tamasi) Pettus, son and daughter in law Ryan and Jennifer Pettus, daughter Erin Pettus, son Evan Pettus, sister and brother in law Diane (Pettus) and Charles Deitz, 3 grandchildren Bianca, Elizabeth, and Dominic Pettus, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 11:00 am on Friday, July 12, 2019 at St. David the King Church 1 New Village Road, Princeton Junction.
Friends may call from 9:00 am until the time of the mass at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Princeton Hospice Program or Block Island Maritime Institute.
