Went to Rahway yesterday for a bone density test. As the Tech was prepping me, we talked & told her I knew a lot of the Employees for my husband, Larry has been there many times since December 2015. I even mentioned Tom by name, for I always enjoyed his hugs, kisses & smiles. After the test, she proceeded to tell me of Tom's passing. Oh my God, I was in a total state of shock. Tom was a wonderful human being with a good & caring nature. All I can say is that Tom, I hope you are resting in the loving arms of God. To his Family & Friends, always smile, be kind & considerate of others, just like Tom was. With my deepest sympathy, love & prayers, Irene C. W. Wheat & Larry Wheat

Tom was not only a co-worker and a mentor. He was someone I considered a friend and an extension of my family. His energy was infectious and he brought life to our workplace. He would've done anything for others especially if he felt like they were in need. Truly special and one of a kind. He will be sorely missed but he will be forever in our hearts. I'm going to miss our breakfast sandwich morning routine. I pray for everyone grieving, that God gives them peace in their hearts moving forward.

I met Tom at rwj in 1992 , right away we had an affinity for each other, we saw eye to eye on many things. I remember the smell his corn muffins in the morning when we would stay at his house to get an early start to go skiing, which he taught me how to do, we were part of a crew together. For many years we would celebrate each others birthdays, he would always remember.
He was always a warm caring person with a big heart and willl be missed.
Rest In Peace my friend.

Rest with the Angels “Dr.Tom”. I’m heartbroken God took such a wonderful and compassionate man away from us so soon. You were a comfort in many times of need for me and I will be eternally grateful. Heaven truely has gained another angel. You will be very missed here!

My deepest condolences to the family. I had the fortune of meeting Tom while working at Saint James Hospital in Newark. He was our sales rep at that time. He was not only very professional, but also caring and helpful. He was always friendly and always smiling. He will be missed by all of us who knew him and worked with him. Rest in peace Tom.
