Obituary of Thomas A. Hatala

On Monday, September 16, 2019, Thomas A. Hatala passed away at the age of 62 at his home in Robbinsville, New Jersey.

Tom was born on August 27, 1957, in South River, NJ, raised in Edison where him and his twin brother went on many adventures. After completing his Associates Degree for Radiologic Technology, he moved to Highland Park and started his career. He was a Senior Radiology Technologist for many years with RWJ Hospital/Barnabas Health System in Rahway. He was a clinical coordinator for the radiology students from Middlesex County College at RWJ. Work was never a job to Tom as he loved what he did, and considered his coworkers as family.

Son of the late lovebirds Arthur J. and Joan C. Hatala who were married for 62 years. He is survived by the love of his life, his daughter Nina J. Hatala, who he was always very proud of. As well as his twin brother Arthur V. Hatala and sister-in-law Patricia Hatala, and his former wife and forever friend, Phyllis Hatala. Family held a special place in Tom’s heart, which was never limited to his bloodline.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 20, 2019 and from 8:00 to 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
