Obituary of Louise Apperson
Louise Apperson, 84, of Skillman passed away Tuesday November 5, 2019 at home quite suddenly and unexpectedly. Born in Washington, DC, she resided in Port Washington, Long Island before moving to Skillman 40 years ago. She was a member of the Princeton United Methodist Church, Past President of the United Methodist Women’s Association, Founder and Past President of the Circle of Friends at Princeton United Methodist Church and a member of the Newcomers Club of Princeton. Louise was a volunteer for many years at the Merwick Hospital registering 500 hours. She was an avid bowler scoring a perfect 300.
Daughter of the late Frank M. and Amolee (Whitlow) Brantley, sister of the late Bert Treadaway and brother Frank Brantley, Jr., she is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lawrence L. Apperson, 1 son Gary Rogers, 1 stepson and a stepdaughter in law Larry and Merle Apperson, 1 daughter and son in law Sharon Louise and John DiStase, and a stepdaughter Angela Power, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Louise was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She had a warm smile, a gracious manner and was loved by all.
The Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Princeton United Methodist Church, 7 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019, 11:00 am at the Church.
Burial will follow in the Rocky Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Princeton United Methodist Church Women’s Association.
