Tammy L. Kerlin, 57, of Bordentown died Monday, November 4, 2019 at Virtua Our Lady Of Lourdes of Camden, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Farmington, NM, she resided in Phoenix, AZ before moving to New Jersey in 1990.
Daughter of Edgar[MCA1] Jackson and Denisé (Daniels) Morris, she is survived by her parents, husband John Buck Kerlin, and 3 daughters; Mandy Murphy and her partner Yaniv Weissman, Kayla Kerlin-Monteiro and her husband Caio Monteiro, and Clarissa Kerlin, as well as 2 brothers, Troy and Vaughn Morris, sisters in law, nieces and a nephew, an honorary daughter, Meghan Schumacher, and many fur-grandchildren.
While she had 3 biological daughters, Tammy served as a mother figure for many more children throughout her life. Her generosity and kindness made her house a second home for many “wayward children” who took comfort in her unconditional (yet tough) love and understanding. She also served as a source of inspiration and strength not only to those whom she worked with and trained at her home as a personal trainer, but also to those that came to know her outside of the gym. She embraced all that life had to offer. She particularly enjoyed attending concerts and classic car shows, where she would chat with other fanatics about their cars as well as about her 4th child, a 2009 Dodge Challenger.
She will be remembered for her strength, her passion, and her warrior spirit.
