Kurt Roy Powers, 68, of Plainsboro passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Merwick Care and Rehab Center in Plainsboro.
Born in Springfield, MA, Kurt resided in Plainsboro at the time of his death. He worked for the State of New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife where he lead the operation of the Pequest and Hackettstown fish hatcheries and was Bureau Chief of Marine Fisheries. Kurt was a member of Stone Hill Church in Princeton. Faith and family were valued deeply by Kurt and he loved deeply and lived his life to the fullest.
Son of the late Roy and Marilyn (Wilhelmi) Powers, he is survived by his wife Marion Frances (Seed) Powers, a son and daughter-in-law Jonathan and Heather Powers, two daughters and sons-in-law Erin and James Lee, Sara and Marc Pensyl, a brother and sister-in-law Mark and Kathy Powers, and four grandchildren Abigail Lee, David Lee, Michael Pensyl and Nathan Lee.
A Celebration of Life service for family and friends will be held on Friday November 22 at 2:30 pm at Stone Hill Church, 1025 Bunn Drive, Princeton.
