Obituary of Harriet H Novak

Harriet H. Novak, 104 of Lawrenceville, New Jersey died Monday, January 13, 2020 at Saint Joseph’s Skilled Nursing, Lawrence Township. Born in Bayonne, NJ, she resided in Princeton and West Windsor for over 72 years. She was a graduate of the Drake Business School Bayonne, NJ, class of 1932. Harriet retired after many years of service with the Princeton University Book Store, where she was responsible for Special Order Books. She was the former owner of a coffee Shop in the Penns Neck section of West Windsor. She was also a member of Saint Paul’s Church. Daughter of the late Vincent and Hipolita (Shipinski) Ploski, wife of the late Edward Novak, sister of the late Natale Baker, Jean Witkowski, Caroline Wenski, Stanley Ploski, she is survived by a son and daughter in law Ronald and Adelaide Novak, a sister Florence Rogers, three grandchildren, Diane Novak and her husband Michael Webb, Stephen Novak, Brian Novak, one great grandson Jake Moore and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 16, 2020, 11:00 AM at Saint Paul’s Church 216 Nassau Street, Princeton. Burial will follow in Saint Paul’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at Saint Paul’s Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Mather Hodge Funeral Home.
