Jim and Lee would take care of my brother and I often after school, I was friends with the brothers and the pet raccoon they had in the house. Jim was a character, spoke his mind, always had a smirk on his face and saw a lot of challenges in his life.
He enjoyed working, not only in his garage on Witherspoon St but later in Palmer Square and loved to talk to people and find out where they were from. Jim was also a joker in many ways, he would say things just to see how you would react. He always remembered me from back to when I was 5 years old, he always asked how Mom and Dad were and he was a big part of the old Princeton.
I thought of him the other day and I wonder now if he was trying to say goodbye.
God bless you Jim, you will be missed. Have a glass of wine, say hi to Lee and my parents and I will see you when the time comes.

I knew Jimmy from 2004 to 2010 at Nassau Inn, where I was a employee with the Title Restaurant Manager of the Yankee
Doodle Tap Room, and on occasion saw him as I used my card to get in and out of the parking garage with Joe and Mauro, plus
others. They sat in a booth cold weather, hot weather, great weather anyone who denies that isn't playing with a full deck.
I didn't want to leave the Inn, if they really wanted me, well enough said, after a while you don't stay where you are not appreciated
or really want to associate with fake people! I remember all he told me about Mike Leiggi, his gas station competitor, I
told him, he is NOT RELATED TO ME, all he has is the misspelling with my name because of Ellis island, Rest in Peace Jimmy!

I was babysitting Kim and Keith when he was a baby and Kim was around 4, on Jefferson St. it was dark and someone knocked on the door. Not expecting anyone, I was a little nervous. When I looked out the door, I was terrified. There stood Mr. Esposito, whom I had not me yet, in a trench coat. Seriously, my heart skipped a beat. Lol. He yells through the door “i’m Jimmy’s father!” I made Kim come verify before I would open the door. Who would have known, I would have the privilege of getting to know him better. Such a nice, kind man!
