Obituary of Joan M. Bradford

Joan M. Bradford, 87, of Princeton died Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Penn Medicine in Plainsboro, NJ. Born in Princeton, she lived and raised her family in York, PA for many years. Joan operated such businesses as Kira’s, J.Bradford Ltd. in York,PA and Absolutely Balloonie in Kingston N.J. Wherever Joan lived, she loved people and animals wholeheartedly. She became an active Animal Rescuer and over the years helped to place hundreds of pets in their forever homes. Daughter of the late Harry and Anne (Fucci) Petrozzini, she is survived by her son Tod Bradford and his wife Cecily of York PA, her daughter Jody Bradford of Princeton NJ, and daughter Kira Kessler and her husband Tom of York Springs, PA. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Curtis Oviatt and Jarod and Jade Bradford, a sister Judith Petrozzini, a sister-in-law Elizabeth Petrozzini and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Joan was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph and James Petrozzini both of whom she missed dearly. It is with great sadness that in light of the current pandemic situation, the family must make arrangements to celebrate Joan’s life at a later time.
