Words can not express my sadness of Ruth's passing. She was a very sweet lady. I have a very distant memory of watching her tend her flowers in the front yard. (We have lived here for 16 years so I mostly knew Ruth after her stroke.) And then I remember Bob planting the flowers as Ruth looked on from a chair. It was sweet how they cared for each other. I got to know Ruth a little bit in the past few years as she would sometimes call me for assistance or sometimes help finding Bob. She was always eager to have Bob around. Sometimes we talked about dogs and Bedelia.
I'm so sorry Ruth is gone. Although she has not planted the geraniums in years, every time I pass the house and see the geraniums I think in my head that those are Ruth's geraniums. May she rest in peace.
