I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, Maria. I remember you telling me at a faculty meeting about her cooking when you were growing up. Our prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Dear Mariella and Robert and family,
I was saddened to hear that “zia Dora”passed away. She has left many good memories from my childhood, when we used to come down to see your family up to a few years ago when I last saw her. I recall a classy woman that would welcome us with open arms and a warm smile. Her hospitality was always wonderful with her great cuisine, her refined touches and her interesting stories. She was a talented woman in so many ways. She will be missed, but she will finally meet up with “zio Cosmo”, who was another beautiful person that I will never forget. Zia Dora lived a long, fulfilled life and leaving good memories with whomever crossed her path. May she Rest In Peace and may she look over you and your family from up above. Please accept our sincere condolences and hopes of courage during these trying times.
Sincere sympathy
On behalf of myself, my husband and my mother Emilia,
Anna Nini

My deepest condolences to the whole family & I truly have fond memories of an amazing woman -
I remember her like it was yesterday catering to our family when we went to visit over summer vacations - 1st time I saw watermelon balls that she so carefully carved & placed back in the melon shell apart from the amazing spread on the table & her so welcoming warm smile & hug
I even remember my sleepover when I wake up to donuts for breakfast - little did she know that it made my day as I had never woken up to that.
It’s unfortunate that our distance didn’t enable me to visit more often but I shall never forget her warmth
RIP & watch over your family as you shall never be forgotten
God bless you
