Obituary of Kate H. Vanderbush

Kate H. Vanderbush, 67, of Pemberton passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Aspen Hills Nursing Home of Pemberton, NJ. Born October 5, 1953 in New York City, NY, she resided in Vermont and New Jersey.

Kate attended Norwich University in Vermont and Skidmore Colledge in New York. She worked for many years as a nurse for Central Vermont Medical Center and Rowan Court in Berlin Vermont and a variety of healthcare facilities in New Jersey. 

Daughter of the late Luther and Jeanette (Hasselhuhn) Haggerty, she is survived by 3 children and 9 grandchildren. Son, Scott VanderBush of Florida, and granddaughter Ashley Ricker. Daughter Christina Vanderbush Steele of New Jersey, and grandchildren Jonathan Steele, Dylan Steele, Cassie Steele, Mathew Steele, and Thomas Steele. And son, Gilbert VanderBush, and his wife Penne VanderBush of Vermont, and grandchildren Grady Smith, Kaydence Smith, and Serena Kate VanderBush.

Kate enjoyed reading, crosswords, playing rummy, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints.  

Kate will rest with her parents in the Cokesbury Presbyterian Churchyard in Hunterdon New Jersey in the Spring of 2021. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
