In Memory of Patricia Tucker Patricia Tucker, born in 1926, personified the spirit of an era of youth that has become known as "The Greatest Generation," when any dream worth dreaming was possible. She conducted her life in that spirit--full of optimism, independence, and caring toward others. Diagnosed in 2007 with lung cancer, she battled her illness victoriously and bravely until a peaceful passing at home in the early morning of February 1, 2013. She is survived by her two daughters, Jane and Claire. She was a resident of Village Grande, West Windsor, N.J., where she was a member of that community's Syncopations Dance Troupe, performing in two of the Village Grande Players' musical shows. Patricia was an avid music and theater enthusiast all her life. It was her life's passion. After graduating high school, she studied voice and dance at the Alvene Academy of the Performing Arts in New York City. She sang with various bands and at supper clubs throughout New Jersey before marrying and raising a family. Her early married life was shared with Thomas Canonico, who survives her. Her second marriage was to the late Lenox Tucker, with whom she shared her golden years. She was a devoted wife and mother, and loved by all who knew her. She will be missed greatly.
