MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL
Obituary of Diane Marie Bucher
Diane Marie Bucher passed away in her home with family by her side on April 28, 2021. She was born on October 26, 1936 to Oakland G Knauff and Grace A Shapiro in Williamsport, PA.
Diane lived in Shelton, CT for over 35 years before she retired from Savoy Linen in Stratford and moved to Princeton, NJ in 2003. Diane's life centered around her family and her deep Christian faith. She was extremely active at St. David the King Church where she attended bible study, and volunteered for many years at the food pantry. Perhaps, above everything, she is best known and loved for her extraordinary love of her family and playing games. It is difficult to meet someone who knew Diane who did not know about her family. Diane was very proud of all her children and grandchildren, and bragged to everyone about them. She is desperately mourned and missed by her family.
Diane is survived by seven children: Jeffrey (Sarah) Bucher, Leah (Jay) Bucher, Kevin (Donna) Bucher, Michelle (John) Rank, Natalie (Chris) D’Aiello, Olivia (Kevin) Bucher, and Pamela (Mario) Rubbo; 16 grandchildren: Chrissie (Brett) Greenlaw, Amy (Philip) Granados, Jeffrey Bucher Jr., John & Andrew Bucher, Shawn (Abigail) Quinn, Dominique Baum, Justin (Jamie) French, Kaleigh (Austin) Bowden, Chelsea (Casey) Bass, Julia & Sabrina D’Aiello, Craig Bucher, and Nathan & Owen Rubbo; and 21 great grandchildren Alyssa & Dylan Greenlaw, Kasia, Robin & Malin Granados, Samara, Bryton, Sophie & Sadie Lambright, Sarah, Rebecca, and Hannah Quinn, Seth Blubaugh, Jett & Kade Bucher, Seth, Karlee & Lilly French, Edward Bowden, and Cadence & Collin Bass; and one great-great granddaughter Paisley. She is predeceased by her brothers Terry Michael Solomon & George Knauff and her grandson Charles Bucher.
In lieu of flowers please donate to your local food pantry in her name.
