Audrey and Eric,
I was so sad to learn of the passing of your Mother. Dr. Chang was a strong and caring person and I truly admired her because she took the time to teach me when I did not know something about the business. I will keep in my heart the talks we shared on a personal level too. She loved you both very much and wanted only the very best for you and your families. You and your families are in my prayers. I hope you find peace and comfort in knowing that she is in the arms of the ultimate love, Jesus.

Hi Audrey and Eric
I was so very sorry to hear about your Mom's passing.
She was one of the finest people I've ever met, not just in my business career, but life in general.
Lena was First Class all the way : A brilliant Mathematician, a brilliant Businesswoman, AND MOST IMP[ORTANTLY, a kind and gentle lady, a wonderful and devoted Mom and Grand Mom.
And, she epitomized not only the American Dream, but the dream of every human being !
She was, and always will be, the best !
And, you should both take great solace that, during her life, she accomplished so many wonderful and memorable things, most of all, the two of you, her beloved kids. She saw you both rise to brilliant heights in the business world, become great adults and parents, and successful and honorable business people in your own right.
You both made her so proud, as proud as any parent could possibly feel about her kids.
You guys have my, and Roseanne's, deepest respect and, of course, our deepest sympathy for your loss, but I am happy that she saw, and relished in, your success and happiness and accomplishments ! In that way, she lived a great and rewarding, life !
Now, she is in God's holy heaven, looking down at both of you, and your families, rooting for all your happiness, continued success, and well being. You guys are also the best !!! Lena was the best, all the way, and now, I want you to know you've both made her proud !!
I mean that sincerely, from the bottom of my heart.
As her friend, and if you don't mind my saying so, I, too, am so proud of both of you. You have honored yourselves, and her memory, to no end ! And, if there is anything you need from me, ever, I am always here for you. Please know that !
I shall never forget her. God bless you and all your family !
Jim

Lena was a wonderful friend for the past 30 years. She and Jim were ideal examples of leadership by example. Her legacy will continue in her children who could not have had better preparation for the paths they chose. My wife and I will miss her greatly. Our lives are enriched by having been a part of her life.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Chang/Lena from an early age. She was a fixture in my life from junior high school and all through adulthood. She treated me with kindness and respect and like one of her own. Considering all the time I spent with Eric in her home in Lexington, Princeton, vacations on Cape Cod, Atlantic City and Jamaica and summers on the Jersey shore, I was practically one of her own. Lena provided me with a home in Princeton when I received my first job offer and could not yet afford an apartment in Manhattan. Her generosity was matched by the values of hard work and integrity that she demonstrated every day.
I am forever grateful to have known Dr. Chang/Lena and for the impact she has had on my life.

There are people who have left large footsteps in this world when they leave. Lena certainly has done this. In all of her many roles, npne of which were more important to her than her devotion to her family. She exemplified what a woman can accomplish. She did not waste a moment of the life her creator gave her and so many of us are much the better for that. I had the cherished honor of years of watching how Lena in her quiet way created and nourished her businesses and her family with equall genius and love. I will always remember her little laugh and her ability to teach us all when the most difficult problems arose. She was an incredible lady in her own right and a magnificant partner to her late husband Jim Sheeran. Together hhey did great things and when Jim left, Lena carried on their work. Her chidren Audrey and Eric will now do so and well because she taught them so well. I loved Lena as a cherished friend and I will never forget her. Rest well, our leader in your new role.

In Memory of Lena
I have known Lena since we were in 5th grade in Nanking, China. Later, both families left Nanking and each went to different cities. We were so surprised to have met again in the same school in 7th grade in Taipei, Taiwan. From then on, we were inseparable best friends. I have admired her ever since. She’s all I am not. I remember she told me quite a bit of her smart and capable brother, Tom who seemed to be her icon. Lena left for college after we graduated from High school. There were so many anecdotes I could tell, but not enough space.
I thought it was God’s will that of all the colleges in the USA, I only applied one for an assistantship for graduate school knowing nothing about her family in America. I happened to meet Tom who was a professor in there. That was how I became Lena’s sister-in-law.
