I only met Pastor Michael 1 time, but was sincerely moved by his preaching. I truly believe that his life touched all he met. RIP

Joyce and family: I was very sad to learn of Mike's death. We were friends at Hastings College and sang in choir and chamber choir together. I reconnected with him via email several years ago after seeing several of his magnificent bird photographs. Prayers for you all during this difficult time. You are in my thoughts. Robin Koozer

This was such a shock. Mike and we were very good friends in high school and shared many good times - Student Council for Johanna, playing chess and just philosophizing with Chuck. We just reconnected with him at the reunion a few months ago and it felt like we had seen each other only weeks before, even though it was almost 50 years. He is missed and was a very accomplished and gentle man. Although we have not had the pleasure of meeting the family, we feel very deeply for your loss. May you find peace in your memories of MIke.

Remembering Michael's preaching voice filling the sanctuary and nourishing my people! Grateful for our moments together gardening, RV'ing, and swapping preaching for dog care.

We commuted together to Newark for many years, but we enjoyed his visit at our house in Kennebunkport more. Pictures of the latter are attached.

My condolences to the family.
Michael was my boss at The Division of consumer Affairs, Psychology Board, he loved to bring us baked goodie his wife Joyce made, he shared with us his love for cooking, photography and wildlife especially birds, He loved his family, He loved God and being His servant, serving others, he loved a good laugh and it was a distinct one, it was contagious, we at the office will always laugh after we hear him laugh. It was a pleasure working with Michael. He will be surely missed.

Joyce I went to Hastings College with Mike and have many fond memories of our time there. We reconnected on Facebook a few years ago. When he was out in Colorado last summer we had lunch and had a wonderful discussion. My condolences and sympathy are with you and your family.

What a dreadful shock this must be to your family. We were lucky enough to have sat right behind you at NPC for many year- watching the interaction between the four of you. Michael will be missed by many. Our sincere wishes that you will be surrounded by your happiest of memories. Fondly, Pam and John Kelsey

My deepest sympathies for your loss. I had the priviledge of working with Michael for 5 years, before he retired as executive director.
He shared his knowledge and experience freely, for which I am grateful.
May he rest in peace.

My husband and I were so fortunate to have known Joe through Nassau Presbyterian Church. His warmth and humor and kindness always made us feel so welcome. We missed him and Joyce when they retired. Our deepest condolences and most heartfelt prayers are sent to Joyce and their children.
