Obituary of Patricia Ann Byrne
Patricia Ann Byrne, age 82, of Belle Mead, NJ died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 17, 2022.
Patricia was born on November 12, 1939 in the Bronx, New York to the late Tom and Mabel Kelly. She was a graduate of Thorpe Secretarial School in Manhattan, NY. In 1962, Patricia married the love of her life, John “Jack” Byrne. Together they created a beautiful life for themselves that was filled with love, respect, a family of 3 children and 7 grandchildren and wonderful memories to be cherished. Through strength, endurance and undying love, as signified by the Diamond, Pat and Jack celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary just prior to her death.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Patricia devoted her life to her family. She was a loyal friend and treasured all of those that were lucky to be in her life. She enjoyed the many travels around the world that she and her husband had the opportunity to take, but the most cherished destination to her were the summer trips to Peach Lake, North Salem, N.Y., where her and Jack first met. Pat appreciated the performing arts, having attended many musicals, re-watching classic old movies and reading the autobiographies of her favorite entertainers.
Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Mabel (Connolly) Kelly, and sister, Joan Welstead, Patricia is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, John “Jack” J. Byrne; 3 loving children Kelly Ann Lazicky (Dennis), John J. Byrne, Jr. (Debra) and Thomas Michael Byrne (Asha); 7 cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Jack Patrick, Bridget, Daniel, Mac and Flynn. She is also survived by her extended family and dear friends.
