I am the sister of Geoffrey Green, John's long-standing friend. I first met John as a little girl when he and Geoff came from New Jersey to Meeker, Colorado for a summer visit. We stayed friends from then on. In the mid-seventies, my husband Tim and I visited with Geoff and John asked me to make a very special English dessert that my Mother introduced him to in the past, and English Trifle. A number of years later we were back for another visit. John was glad to see us, but pretty please, will you make your special dessert just for me? I did and we all enjoyed a wonderful evening.
