I will always remember Tom and his lovely smile. He could always make me laugh.
Tom and Ellen took my Mom, Dad, Patrick, Eddie
and myself on a boat ride. My Dad went water skiing but had a hard time getting in boat. Eddie went in the water and helped my Dad into the boat. Tom told Eddie he should have asked for the house before helping. We all had a great laugh. That is how I will remember a great cousin. RIP TOM!!!

Summers at Chadwick beach are among the best memories I have of my childhood. From that time, two distinct memories come to mind.
There wasn’t much excitement in Chadwick. But the mail truck would drive by every day. I don’t know how it became a joke between me and Tom, but somehow, the daily mail truck visit became an event for celebration. I’d be on the street and I’d hear “Sheryl, the mail’s here!” I’d be up in the bedroom and he’d call “Sheryl, the mail’s here!” He made it such an event that I still remember it, probably 35 years later!
And then there was the raft – the 8-person raft that he bought one year. I remember all of us piling on that thing and I’m pretty sure there were way more than 8 of us!! But he was right there in the middle of it, the biggest kid in the group!
Many years later, Tom and I connected on the phone. He was telling me about his new studio apartment. “It’s great!” he shared with me. “Whenever I lose my keys, I say ‘they’ve got to be in this room somewhere!’”
Tom was, and still is, an inspiration to me, to find the joy and the gift in every moment. I am so grateful for his and Ellen’s friendship with my parents, Terry and Tony Sacchitelli, and the times our families got to spend together.
Sending love and heartfelt condolences to the whole family -- Sheryl Sacchitelli

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved Thomas Curtis Feehan. As a child I remember often visiting the family on Collard Street in Jersey City. One day my dad was carrying me in his arms as he walked up the street from Aunt Anna’s home to visit Aunt Ronnie who lived in the apartment below Aunt Edna and Uncle Tom. Along the way we stopped to chat with Thomas who was walking down the street. As always he met us with a huge smile and pleasant hello as he reached out to tickle me! I will always remember his warm smiles!

My Uncle Tom used to joke, "Wait, I'm Thomas Curtis and you're Curtis Thomas? or I'm Curtis Thomas and you're Thomas Curtis?" I will never forget the laughter he created for many, especially for my mom. When my Uncle Tom made her laugh, she burst into tears. The memories of summers spent at Chadwick Beach and hearing stories about growing up in Jersey City will never leave me.
Oakley and Jad loved his rhyme “How does the horsey go in the city? Oh, so nice and oh so pretty. How does the horsey go in the country? Bumpy, bumpy, bumpy!
There are so many people whose lives he touched with laughter and love. Uncle Tom, may he rest in peace
