Mary E. Lavin, 78 of Kendall Park, died Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Pavillions At Forrestal. Born in Hoboken, NJ in 1934, she graduated from St. Dominic's Acadamey in 1952 and Caldwell College in 1956. Mary retired with over 30 years of service as an administrator with Princeton University. In her retirement she was an Eucharistic Minister at St. Paul's Church and Princeton House. Daughter of the late Francis Bradley and Helen Marie Guenther Murray, mother of the late Paul B. Lavin, Jr., sister of the late Francis Murray, Aunt of the late Henry Murray, she is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Paul B. Lavin, 3 daughters and 3 sons-in-law Mary Ann and Craig Lang, Michele and Peter Drennan, Elizabeth and Brian Moran, a brother Ralph Murray, 7 grandchildren Catherine, Caroline, Nicholas, Kevin, Brian, Charlie and Jack, 12 nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 26, 2013 9:30 am, St. Paul's Church 214 Nassau Street, Princeton. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home.
