Obituary of Carl Bjorklund

Carl Thomas Bjorklund, 76, of Seaside Park, NJ, and Cocoa Beach, FL, died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in New York City, he resided in Staten Island before moving to West Windsor and later to Seaside Park. Carl was a member of the American Legion, Seaside. He enjoyed spending time with family, bicycling, watching baseball, spending time at the beach, and telling a good joke. Son of the late Carl Gustav and Mary (Fisher) Bjorklund, husband of the late Roberta E. Bjorklund; he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Stefani Bjorklund and Jeff Banks; a son and daughter-in-law Carl E and Mary Ann Bjorklund; three brothers Alan, Peter, and Walter Bjorklund; and three grandchildren Jackson Bjorklund and Tennison and Kajsa Banks. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 12, 2013, 11:00 am, St. Paul's Church 214 Nassau Street, Princeton. Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:00 until 10:30 am at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton.
