Dear Colliers: My most profound condolence upon learning of Richard's passing. As his teacher of computer in Adult Evening School and father to Matt, he was so kind, humble, yet always trying to understand the deeper meaning of things. The world has lost a superb man, and as a fighter for the unborn, he was an emmisary of Christ himself. I am sorry that I cannot attend his wake as I am out of town. My prayers are with you all. Richard must now help guide us from above...

With sympathy and genuine love of neighbor, may these Bible truths sooth your hearts: God is eager to bring our loved ones back to life - Job 14:13-15 and all of those in the common grave of mankind will be resurrected - John 5:28-29. The Bible can be read or listened to online at www.jw.org.

I wrote some of the obituary and in retrospect I think I sold Dad short in one area. I think it's safe to say he was one of the country's premiere pro-life lawyers. My family and I are checking these posts frequently. Thank you everyone for the comfort and support they bring.

The passing of my friend has hit me as hard as any I can remember. I can only imagine the anguish of the Collier family. Rich was truly a great man, the standard of humility, kindness, thoughtfulness and integrity for all others. He was a wonderful family man, a terrific attorney and a fierce defender of the unborn. It was aptly stated that all of the babies in heaven assisted our Lord and His angels in welcoming Rich to his eternal reward. Rich meant, and means, so much to so many; he was a gift. With profound sorrow but thankfulness for the opportunity of knowing him, Jim Lechner
