Jean L. O'Connell, 79, of Princeton Junction died Sunday, April 6, 2014 at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Born in Boston, MA, she has been a resident of Princeton Junction since 1982. She was an active member of St. Paul's Church. Jean loved spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid baseball and NCAA basketball fan. Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Dwyer) Leverone, she is survived by her husband Of 52 years, Thomas P. O'Connell, a son and daughter-in-law Tim and Heather O'Connell, a daughter and son-in-law Jo-Anne and Michael Walker 5 grandchildren Delaney, Jake, Kyle, Jack and Isabella. The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014, 8:30 am from the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am St. Paul's Church 214 Nassau Street, Princeton. Burial will follow in the Princeton Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics of New Jersey in memory of Jean L. O'Connell.
