Isabelle Brown, 90, of Brick NJ, died Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center of Brick Township after a short illness. Born in Whitehouse Station, NJ, she resided in Annandale before moving to Brick in 2003. Isabelle retired in 1987 with over 20 years of service as a secretary to the Principal of North Hunterdon High School. She was a member of the Clinton Presbyterian Church for over 40 years, serving as an Elder and on various women's groups. She is a member of the Nassau Presbyterian Church, Princeton. Daughter of the late Walter and Hedwig Yurowski, wife of the late John W. Brown, she is survived by 2 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Catherine and Richard Karpowicz of Princeton, Nancy Steck and Gary Steck of Brick, a step-son James Brown of Flemington, step-daughter Joan Hostetter of Lancaster PA, a brother G. Edmund Yurowski of Freehold, 5 grandchildren Max, James, John, Brian, Ken, and nieces and nephews. The viewing and Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Nassau Presbyterian Church, 61 Nassau Street, Princeton. The viewing will take place at 11:00 am followed by the funeral service beginning at 12:30 pm. Graveside services will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Evergreen Cemetery, located in Clinton, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
