Obituary of Vera Fedorov

Vera K. Fedorov, 75, of Princeton died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at University Medical Center at Princeton. She was battling a severe spinal cord injury for last seven months. Born in Panchevo, Yugoslavia she resided in Manhattan, Princeton and Sanibel Island, Florida. Vera was living in Berlin during WWII, and emigrated to Manhattan as a young teenager. She received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley in the 50's. After marrying and moving back to the East Coast, she received an advanced degree from Columbia, she was a professor at Douglass College and Rutgers University. In the early 80's she started her own real estate development business in Hoboken New Jersey that she ran until she died. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Daughter of the late Nicholas N. and Vera (Pestov) Kovalevski, she is survived by 2 sons Victor A. Fedorov, Mark J. Fedorov, a daughter Veronica A. Savage, 5 Grandchildren Christopher, Serena, Grayson, Grant and Kaylyn. She will be sorely missed by many people who's hearts she touched. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Orthodox Church of St. Elizabeth 38 Princeton Avenue, Rocky Hill. Burial will be private.
