Lucia Rossi, 100, of Princeton died Sunday, January 25, 2015 at home, surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Born in Pettoranello, Italy, she emigrated to Princeton in 1956. She was a member of St. Paul's Church, the St. Paul's Rosary Society, and the Italian American Sportsman Club. Daughter of Michele and Carolina (Toto) Federico, wife of the late Eduardo Rossi, sister of the late Anthony Federico, Ida Procaccini, Rosalinda Perna, Angiolina Federico Pirone, mother-in-law of the late Camillo Pirone, she is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters-in-law Hugo and Mary Jane Rossi, Luciano and Laura Rossi, 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law Angiolina and Michael Toto, Maria Pirone, Antonietta "Toni" and John Niper, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 8:30 am on Friday, January 30, 2015 from the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am at St. Paul's Church 214 Nassau Street, Princeton. Entombment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Park at 1800 State Route 27, North Brunswick. Friends may call on Thursday, January 29, 2015, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
