Polly Pratt Green O'Donoghue, 91, of Princeton died peacefully Friday, June 17, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Peoria, ILL., she resided most of her life in Princeton. Polly was a graduate of the Mary C. Wheeler School, Providence, RI, the Sarah Lawrance School in Bronxville, NY and the Parsons School of Design in New York City. During World War II she worked for the Red Cross. Mrs. O'Donoghue was the past Directress of the Altar Guild of Trinity Church, past member of the Garden Club of Princeton and an accomplished painter. Daughter of the late Henry and Louise Hannam Pratt, wife of the late Edward George Green and the late John O'Donoghue, she is survived by 2 daughters and a son in law Arden Moulton, Tracey and Wade Whitney, 4 grandchildren Anthony Moulton, Devon Whitney, Tracey Moulton, Edward Whitney and a great granddaughter Lauren Whitney. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Trinity Church 33 Mercer Street, Princeton. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
