David James Osborn, 47, died on Saturday, September 10, 2011 of pancreatic cancer at his home in Princeton Junction, surrounded by his family. Born in Princeton, he was a life-long area resident. He graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School and attended Mercer County Community College. He worked in telecommunications with the General Electric Company and with Dataram. He was a member and past elder of the Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church and a former member, elder and deacon of Covenant Presbyterian Church. He coached youth sports, including West Windsor Little League, Wolverines wresting, WWP soccer and Wildcats football. He was an enthusiastic fly-fisherman and loved fishing in Nantucket, the mountain streams of North Carolina, and Long Beach Island. Predeceased by his mother Carol Ewart Osborn, he is survived by, his wife Katharine Morris Osborn and their sons Matthew and Andrew. He is also survived by his father, Charles "Bucky" Osborn and his companion Joan Grant, his brother Chuck Osborn and his wife Julie; his sister Deborah Luther and her husband Brandon. He is also survived by his parents-in-law Robert and Mei Mei Morris, brother-in-law Robert Morris and his wife Medora, and sister-in-law Jeanne Morris Wert and her husband Sean, brother-in-law Charles Morris and his wife April, nieces Amie Luther, Kellie Osborn, and Leslie Morris and nephews Brian Luther, Tim Osborn, Kyle and Sean Wert. The funeral will be held at the Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church on Saturday, September 17 at 10am . Friends may call at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home on Friday, September 16 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, www.pancan.org
