Elizabeth J. Lowery, née Hinkson (57) died Sunday September 4, 2016 at Abington Memorial-Jefferson Health Hospital, after losing her battle with the complications from a severe aneurysm suffered a week before. Born in Princeton, and educated through the Princeton School System, Mrs. Lowery lived there until moving to Hamilton upon her marriage in 1981. She spent the rest of her life in Hamilton, NJ- working locally- first at Quakerbridge Mall and most recently full-time as an Accounts Payable clerk for Havas Health and part-time at Rite-Aid on Kuser Road. Mrs. Lowery was extremely hard-working and self-motivated, first completing her Associate's Degree at Mercer County Community College around 2007, then progressing to completion of her Bachelor's Degree (with a 4.0 GPA) in 2011 from Strayer University, both while working full-time. She was preceded in death by parents, Harold M. and Beverly (née Saal) Hinkson and her older brother, Harold William (Bill) Hinkson. Mrs. Lowery is survived by her only child, a daughter, April Lowery of Hamilton, her former husband and close friend, Roy Lowery also of Hamilton, and her sister Sue Hodges of Colorado. She also leaves behind several nieces and a nephew. There will be a memorial service at the funeral home following cremation, on Wednesday evening from 5-730 with services held by a minister from 730-8pm. Friends and family are asked to please call at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the charity or organization of the donor's choosing.
