Martha D. Beck, 63, of Princeton died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at University Medical Center At Princeton surrounded by her loving family. Born in Akron, OH she resided in Amityville Long Island before moving to Princeton in 1978. Martha was a member of the Westerly Road Church, the Mercedes Benz Club of America and an avid crocheter, knitter, artist and painter. She was an accomplished high performance car driver having recently won second place at the Mid-Ohio Race Track, Mansfield, OH in May of 2011. Daughter of the late Paul F. and Martha (Schneider) Black, she is survived by her husband of 46 years James J. Beck, 2 daughters and a son-in-law Leslie Anne Turley, Jessica Lynn and James Murphy, 3 grandchildren Laurelin Murphy, Sadie Murphy and Jason Turley. The funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton. Burial will private. Friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00 am until time of service.
