Wilbur L. Lowe, 89, of Tinton Falls, NJ died Friday, November 4, 2011 at Jersey Shore Medical Center of Neptune. Born in Hopewell, NJ son of Josiah A. Lowe and Eliza Crum Lowe. Upon graduation from central High School, Pennington, NJ he worked as a farm machinery Mechanic in Flemington. He enlisted in the Army and served balance of service time in Europe during World War II Upon honorable discharge from the Army, he married the late Catherine H. Hoffman, Rocky Hill, He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, son Jeffrey Lowe and four brothers Edwin F. , Wayne R., Raymond C. and David R.. He is survived by his wife Jean M. Lowe sons Glenn G of Holland, five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He worked for J.I Case Company, partner in Lowe Brothers and retired from Princeton Nurseries. A former Tax Assessor, member of Fire Company and First Aid Squad, Rocky Hill. Member of the Rocky Hill Reformed Church and American Legion Post 339, Hopewell. A memorial service will be private and at the convenience of the family in the Rocky Hill cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Reformed Church of Rocky Hill Washington Street, Rocky Hill NJ 08553. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home , Princeton.
